Bok Tower Gardens
When we go on a camping trip, we like to take little side trips to see sites which we have not visited before. Central Florida abounds with tourist attractions, dominated by WDW in the Kissimmee/St Cloud area. This trip we decided to visit someplace different. We chose Bok Tower Gardens for a pleasant mornings stroll in a beautiful, quiet, well maintained garden. This garden and carillon tower was dedicated in 1929, and may be overlooked by the casual visitor to central Florida. It is located in Lake Wales, Fl about 35 miles from Highland Hammocks State park, our base of operations for this trip. Here are a few photos of our morning stroll.
